Prior to my work in the corporate environment I worked as a retail manager for several years. A couple of years ago, I received a certificate in American Sign Language Interpreters program.
After the birth of my daughter, I decided that I wanted to have a flexible schedule to spend more time with my family.
Mission Statement
My goal is to promote health, well being and balance in mind, body and spirit. Over time life creates patterns in our bodies that negatively impact our lives. Our bodies have an innate wisdom to obtain optimum health, if we just listen. Every client will experience a comfortable and safe environment to relax and heal in, and to revitalize your body, mind and your life energy
How often should I get a massage
The frequency of massage therapy treatments varies with every client. For general stress reduction it is recommended that the client have regular sessions ranging from once a week to once a month. For the client with high stress levels in their work or personal lives, once a week is usually the norm. For specific medical conditions, please consult your doctor, as well as, your massage therapist for recommended session frequency. As with any therapy, whether it be massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, or physical therapy, regular sessions are necessary to acquire the most benefits and to make those benefits last longer.
Massage on normal tissue is almost always a pleasant sensation. Massage in the area of an injury or chronic pain may at first cause some discomfort, which usually lessens noticeably in the first few minutes. The therapist will always try to work within your comfort zone. Tell your therapist if you feel any discomfort so she can make adjustments.
