I come to the world of massage by way of the corporate world. I worked for several years in a human resources benefits department for IBM and Fidelity Investments. I graduated from Methodist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in psychology. Prior to my work in the corporate environment I worked as a retail manager for several years. A couple of years ago, I received a certificate in American Sign Language Interpreters program.
After the birth of my daughter, I decided that I wanted to have a flexible work schedule so that I could spend more time with my family. I also wanted to do something that made a difference in people’s lives. With the support of my husband, I decided to go to massage school. I became a graduate of Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, NC in October of 2007. I am a native of upstate New York and have made North Carolina my home. In my spare time I love traveling, running, spending time with my family and pets. Currently serving as 3rd vice president for AMTA-NC
